Live equipment demonstrations, Sunrise DFE presentations, product portfolio displays and label samples await visitors at Booth 6025.
August 17, 2026
By: Greg Hrinya
Domino will showcase its digital printing technology, software solutions, and flexible equipment acquisition options at LOUPE Americas 2026. The event takes place September 15-17, 2026, and attendees can visit Booth 6025 to “Experience the Domino Difference” firsthand.
At the show, Domino will feature its digital retrofit equipment, including the Domino N610i-R digital retrofit module and Domino K600i dual bar digital UV inkjet printer, integrated on a Mark Andy Performance Series flexo press.
Attendees will have multiple opportunities to see Domino technology in action. Julie Krueger, Domino Demo Room technician, will conduct live demonstrations on the hour, every hour, giving visitors an up-close look at Domino digital printing solutions and the opportunities they provide for label printing and production.
The Domino N610i-R digital retrofit module brings Domino digital inkjet technology to an existing flexographic platform, providing converters with a path to “expand capability, not floor space” by adding digital capabilities without adding additional footprint. With limited space in many label converters’ facilities, being able to add digital printing without taking up addition space is a “game-changer,” the company says.
Domino N610i-R is a compact digital retrofit module that mounts directly onto an existing flexographic press, providing a versatile 3-in-1 solution for hybrid printing, digital-only printing, or flexo-only printing. It allows converters to transform their analog equipment into a hybrid printing solution, adding the speed, versatility, and customization of digital without replacing their current setup – or without requiring more floor space. This gives converters a powerful way to enter or expand into digital printing while protecting their investment in their flexo assets.
By integrating digital printing capability onto an existing flexo press, the N610i-R gives converters more for less. Domino N610i-R provides 600dpi CMYK + white, allowing for versioning, variable data printing, personalization, quick job changeovers, and more. This means shorter make-ready time, less setup waste, the ability to handle multi-SKU jobs more efficiently, and shorter lead time and delivery to the customer.
Mike Barry, commercial director, Domino Digital Printing Americas says, “The N610i-R offers more than just immediate print flexibility – it’s a way to future-proof your business. As demand grows for faster turnaround, versioning, and customization, having a digital press allows converters to adapt quickly.
“With no need to expand facility size, or worry about adding additional footprint, they gain a competitive edge while keeping capital expenditures and operational disruptions to a minimum,” adds Barry. “It allows converters to implement digital printing at a lower cost entry point while providing a great value proposition for them to go after and acquire new customers and increase their revenue.”
Also being demonstrated will be the Domino K600i dual bar digital UV inkjet printer, now with LED curing at full speed. The K600i is a high-speed monochrome UV inkjet printer that integrates onto flexo presses, rewinders, and finishing systems for variable data printing (VDP) at up to 492 fpm. Print widths from 4.25” (108mm) to 30.81” (782mm).
Applications for VDP include anti-counterfeiting; brand protection; consumer engagement; e-commerce; food safety; inventory control; logistics & reverse logistics; loyalty and promotional program; and track-and-trace. Print serial, batch, random, or pin numbers; alpha numeric characters; variable images; linear barcodes; 2D matrix, or QR codes. And QR codes will be a hot topic heading into 2027. Partnering with SST LED Curing Technology, converters can print and cure with LED at full system speeds, reducing energy costs and eliminating the need for complex ventilation.
Sunrise 2027 is a global initiative to move the linear barcode to a QR code format by the year 2027. This evolution is going to change the way converters print labels for their customers. By the year 2027, retailers have committed to having the scanning equipment to accept the new QR code format, and with that, brand owners and manufacturers are going to have the ability to add in additional information other than just the pricing and inventory information in the products they sell.
Additional unique information, such as serial numbers, date and lot codes, promotional information and other variable information, will be put into the UPC QR code without taking up additional real estate on the label.
What does this mean for converters? The brand owner is going to want to unleash the power of this new code and the ability to add that additional data information. This will make every label variable and unique in that it will have to have its own identifier or number. The brand owner is going to understand the benefits from this, and they’re going to look to the label and packaging converters to help them take advantage of these changes.
Converters can see the Sunrise 2027 GS1 code being printed live at LOUPE on all Domino equipment.
In addition to the live equipment demonstrations, interactive kiosks within Booth 6025 will give visitors an opportunity to explore Domino’s full product portfolio and learn more about the range of solutions available to label converters.
And at one of the kiosks, Sarah Ervin, technical product manager – Applications, will provide demonstrations of Domino Sunrise DFE, giving attendees an opportunity to see the digital front-end solution in action and learn more about how it supports the digital printing workflow.
Visitors will also be able to see and experience the finished results for themselves. Label samples illustrating the quality of Domino digital printing technology will be available throughout the booth, and attendees are encouraged to take samples home with them.
Beyond the show floor, Domino will illustrate in a ‘big way’ how they make digital printing technology easier to acquire. An impressive 18-foot-tall by 44-foot-wide banner outside the front of the Donald E. Stephens convention center will promote the Domino In-House Leasing Program, featuring the message: “Starting at $6,995 per month, acquiring a Domino digital press has never been easier!”
Domino’s In-House Leasing Program provides customers with payment options to fit their budget while highlighting several key advantages including a predictable monthly cost, bundled package with service and more, and trade-in options to help customers plan ahead.
These options are designed to give converters greater flexibility when investing in digital technology and provide a straightforward path to bring Domino digital printing capabilities into their operations.
“LOUPE Americas 2026 provides a great opportunity for converters to experience Domino digital technology firsthand, explore our complete portfolio, and talk with our team about how digital can fit into their business,” says Barry. “From live Domino N610i-R, K600i, and Sunrise DFE demonstrations to printed label samples attendees can take with them, we want visitors to leave Booth 6025 with a clear understanding of what Domino technology can deliver. And with our In-House Leasing Program, we’re providing another way to make that investment more accessible, with predictable costs and options designed around the customer’s needs.”
